Faysal Bank

Loans through Farmer Facilitator are financed by Faysal Bank. Zaraat Dost brings the surveyed parcel, the field verification and the crop behind the loan; the bank takes the decision and releases the funds.

One pipeline, end to end

From the first visit to the last repayment.

Every stage is recorded with who took it and when. Farmers initiate; staff and the bank decide.

  1. 01

    Farmer onboarding

The farmer's identity, mobile and land are recorded, and the parcels to be financed are named against the mill's survey.

  2. 02

    Field verification

A field officer visits the parcel, photographs it and confirms the crop and the acreage on the ground.

  3. 03

    Staff review

Documents, acreage and the mill's survey are reconciled. Exceptions are resolved before anything reaches the bank.

  4. 04

    The bank's decision

The bank approves an amount against verified acres, with the pricing recorded.

  5. 05

    Disbursement

Inputs are released and repayment is followed through the season, with the crop behind the loan under watch.

Why it is different

Drawn over parcels that were surveyed on the ground.

Most agricultural lending sees paperwork. Farmer Facilitator sees the field: surveyed by the mill, photographed by a field officer, watched from space through the season.

  • Financed by Faysal Bank; loans in inputs, not cash: urea, sulphur and other inputs, with returns recorded per grower
  • Loan acreage reconciled with the mill's own survey records
  • Applicant CNIC and photo verification before review
  • The terms of every approved contract recorded with the acreage behind it
  • Crop monitoring over financed fields: on track, slipping or behind, with the measurements
  • Identifiers rest masked; every figure carries its age; the app never invents a number the server did not send

Field staff

Verify parcels, photograph them and record what they saw, from a phone in the field.

Bank staff

Review the file, the documents and the mill's survey side by side, and record the decision.
